Dishwasher

Our ceramics are dishwasher safe.
However, we recommend gentle handwashing to preserve the surface and finish over time.

Microwave

Pieces are not advised to be used in the microwave to extend the life of the pieces.
Please avoid sudden temperature changes.

 

Thermal Shock

Ceramics can be sensitive to rapid temperature shifts. Therefore it's best to avoid sudden temperature changes and allow the pieces to adjust gradually to temperature changes.

Surface & Finish

Matte and textured surfaces may develop subtle marks over time. This is a natural part of use and adds to the character of the piece.

To maintain appearance:

• Avoid abrasive cleaning tools

• Use mild detergent

 

Storage

Given the fragile nature of porcelain:

• Stack pieces carefully to avoid scratches or cracks

 

A Note on Handmade Objects

Each Studio Nüwa piece is unique. Slight irregularities are not flaws, but part of the making process.

They are meant to be used, not kept perfect.
